Zhao Jie started her musical training at the age of 5. She began studying with renowned Chinese-Canadian Pianist and educator Mr Liu Xiao Hua since 1998.
After completing her piano studies with Mr Liu, Zhao Jie continued her artistic development in 2003 in Russia. She attended the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in Saint Petersburg, under the mentorship of Professor Alexander Dyachkov for her bachelor degree in 2008 and master degree in 2010. Whilst in Russia, Zhao Jie continued regular private studies with Madam Datiana Dedik who is a famed pianist and educator from St.Petersburg Conservatory of Music, Russia.
During the course of her studies at the Herzen State Pedagogical University, Zhao Jie had also frequently collaborated with various musicians to explore a wide range of the chamber music, including eminent dramatic tenor, Mr Alexander Dedik, who received the highest awards for artistic and musical achievement of Russia - the People's Artist of Russia.
She was invited as Guest Solo Pianist to perform "The Nutcracker" suite for piano in the concert for the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Tchaikovsky in 2010, Russia.
Upon her graduation in 2010, Zhao Jie moved to Singapore. She started her new art journey since then and established her own studio - Aria Music Academy. Zhao Jie coached her students to attend ABRSM examination and most of the students passed with Distinction or Merit. Impressively, some of her students received even full marks for music piece performed. Her professional understanding and analysis to the detail of the pieces was greatly acknowledged and recognised by the examiner.
In addition, Zhao jie organised Annual Students' Concert since 2013 to encourage her students to explore and exposure to different types of genres while listening to others performance, and develop their musical intelligence at the same time. The concerts fostered a valuable appreciation and understanding of music, and fully supported by students, parents and music lovers.
As a teacher, her students has won plenty of awards & achievements.
