2020 SIPC Young Artist Class first Prize Winner

Lucas was born into a family of musicians. He has been inextricably bound up with music since he was young. From the age of four and a half, the piano has become his indispensable partner.

He started learning piano in 2012 with teacher Lin Jian, a piano educator in Hebei Province, China. In early 2019, he studied piano with teacher Wang Xiaohan, a piano professor at Tianjin Julia Academy. Through the hard training of the teacher and his own hard work, he have also obtained some small results over the years, and has won many piano competitions many times.

2013, 2015, 2017 "Pearl River Caesarberg National Piano Competition" Hebei Division-Gold Award.

The 8th and 9th Steinway Piano Competition North China Division-Gold Award, National Third Prize.

2016, 2018 "Xinghai Cup Piano Competition" Hebei District-Gold Award.

2019 "Singapore International Piano Competition" China Group Amateur Group B Gold Medal, Prokofiev Works Performance Gold Medal.

On the Children ’s Day of 2018, he worked with the artists of the Hebei Symphony Orchestra to play the famous French composer Saint Sang ’s iconic large-scale famous song "Animal Carnival" in 1886. The whole work lasted more than 30 minutes and the performance was very successful. Under the warm applause of the audience, he felt that his sweat was not flowing in vain, which strengthened himself-confidence.

While studying the piano, he also carefully studied the school's courses. The grade of each course was A.

He know that the road to a musical dream will not be smooth, but as long as he persists, his dream will be realized. He believes that as long as I persist, his music dream will be realized.
