Pianist Le Ho Hai began piano lessons with Professor Thai Thi Lien and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Tran Thanh Thao. He continued his professional studies in France with Professors Muriel Blaisse, Anne-Marie de Lavilléon, and the world-renowned pianist Désiré N’Kaoua and graduated with First Prize in Piano Performance of postgraduate in the Cycle de Perfectionnement at the Saint-Maur National Conservatory of Music and at the Versailles National Conservatory of Music. He participated in many competitions and won Second Prize at the National Music Competition in Vietnam, 1993; First Prize at the Concours Musical Regional d’Ile-de-France in Paris, 1999.
Le Ho Hai has performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Saint-Maur National Conservatory of Music, the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, as well as a chamber musician with violinists Maryvonne Le Dizès, Sylvie Gazeau, Nguyen Huu Nguyen, pianists Patrick Zygmanowski, Boris Kraljevic, Van Hung Cuong. He has been invited to be in a jury panel in many piano competitions in Vietnam and abroad. His students have won top awards in many national and international competitions.
Le Ho Hai was a Vice-Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the International Piano Festival 2011 and 2013 in Vietnam. He is currently a Head of Piano Department at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Vietnam.
